Mythopoetic Mentorship +
Ritual Leadership Training
In the hurl and burl of modern life, the callings of the soul often go unheard and unacknowledged until their echoes build to a crescendo that cannot—or will not— be ignored. In this wail, the rupture between who you are and who you are meant to be opens wide, and asks to be descended into.
Sometimes this threshold appears as cataclysmic distress. Or it can arrive as the onset of grinding boredom and iron-clad indifference towards what used to bring you joy. Sometimes it is simply hearing a recurring and insistent whisper on the wind that there is a deeper life meant for you. Often, it contains elements of all of these things.
These are all hallmarks of the mid-life passage, which is the modern initiatory threshold into deep and mature adulthood. This is not so much a chronological event, as it is a kairological one: the vertical dimension of time that is not measured by the years you have lived, but by the depth and ripeness of the moment for transformation.
Though you alone must do this, you cannot do it alone.
Through the medicine of ritual, myth, grief tending, and nature-connection, an age-old transformational crucible is forged. Working together—along with your ancestors and mine—we can hallow the cataclysm that is often the catalyst for opening the mid-life passage and revere it as the sacred space that it truly is: the threshold where your unique bundle of gifts can be seeded, received, shaped, and honed. And from there: your purpose, your meaning, your belonging come out of eclipse, and you step towards deep, meaningful, and generative adulthood.
This intentional and customized container is an apprenticeship in two directions
For some, it is a focused descent to navigate your own mid-life threshold. For others, it is a training ground to unfurl your gifts into community ritual and initiatory passage work. Often, these are not separate paths.This mentorship may lead into the tangible work of facilitating community ritual, guiding passage work, and telling medicine stories, or it may remain a mostly interior discipline between you and the other world. Both are complete.
The shape of our work together will emerge from where you are, be centered on mythic listening and ritual response, and guided by the pillars found on the My Approach page (coming soon).
Whether you are in the storm, or you feel the energetic hum of the dark clouds gathering on the horizon, the gateway to a deep and expansive life is calling.
What will you answer?
Your exact errors make a music
that nobody hears.
Your straying feet find the great dance,
walking alone.
And you live on a world where stumbling
always leads home.
Year after year fits over your face—
when there was youth, your talent
was youth;
later, you find your way by touch
where moss redeems the stone;
and you discover where music begins
before it makes any sound,
far in the mountains where canyons go
still as the always-falling, ever-new flakes of snow.

The Flow
The rhythm: One 75-minute call per month (Online). These are not coaching sessions; they are threshold conversations seeded by what its alive for you, and what is dying.
The living assignments: Between calls you will be given nature-based practices, writing prompts, stories, and ritual tasks to weave into your daily life.
The in-person invitation: Mentees receive priority access to seasonal wilderness fasts or community rituals (as they arise), as well as the option to organize events around your journey.
The duration: For initiatory or training work this is at least a 8-month journey (though the soul often has its own timeline).
The cost: $100 per month for 1 call and message thread communication in between, additional fees for extra calls or in-person events if and when they arise.
